Above is a picture of the massive custom air cannon that was built for the US Dept. of Agriculture a few years back. It's a tornado simulator designed to fire a 12 foot long, 15 pound 2 x 4 at a wall at 100 MPH. Testing this monster was a RUSH!!!! Belive it or not... 22 of these "pneumatic artillery pieces" have been built. Click HERE for a video.

| A few parting words from the Spudmaster. On August 26 2008, the sale of the Spudgun Technology Center finally happened. I feel that Jeremy will be a great successor to me. He is intelligent, talented and pays amazing attention to detail. Under his watch the SGTC will continue to grow and maintain its place as the center of the spudgun universe. I certainly wish I was able to keep it going but life changes made it impractical for me to carry on. I had to make a choice between my business and my family. Many people are faced with this choice in their lives…many make the wrong choice. I chose my family. I was not going to let my role as Spudmaster cause me to resent my beautiful little boy.
I’m not out of the game completely. Jeremy and I only live about 6 hours from each other so there is the possibility of some joint efforts at some point down the road…Could prove to be quite interesting.
I would like to thank the millions of people that have frequented Spudtech over the last 7 years. You are the ones that helped build the SGTC into the small empire it has become.
